Ahoy, there mateys! Get it? No? Okay. Anyway.

We’re about a month into working on the record and it’s coming along swimmingly. (Okay, okay, no more water/ship jokes. I’ll try. I know they’re bad.) But really. We’re really happy with the songs we have so far. I’d say we have roughly 14-15 songs on our list so far. We want at least twice that to choose from for the record’s set.

We’ve been working out in the country, hidden away from any distractions. Well, except for an in-ground trampoline that’s in walking distance. Possible videos of that later.

We don’t want to give too many details away at this point, but just wanted to let you all know that we’re staying busy. Very much so. In fact, we even made some time for a show or two coming up. September 17th, in Tyler @ The Spot, we’ll be headlining a show with Quiet Company, Winter Wallace and some really good friends of mine, Feet Of Goliath (they are AMAZING, please check them out immediately).

The record title is set, as we’ve previously mentioned. We’ll start work on album art relatively soon, I imagine.
